# Data Client

Once a user has authenticated their wallet on your website, you will get access to an instance of the data client, which contains a set of rich API's that allow your website to quickly and easily retrieve NFT information and access other Manifold Services.

*Note that the Data Client is ONLY accessible if the following conditions are met:*

* You have installed the Connect Widget on your website

You can get an instance of the data client via the `m-authenticated` [event](https://docs.manifold.xyz/manifold-for-developers/resources/widgets/connect-widget/wallet-authentication) or `window.manifold` [window object](https://docs.manifold.xyz/manifold-for-developers/resources/widgets/connect-widget/wallet-authentication).
